On Wednesday, Nov. 24th, the fun began! Bridget, Mama and I left Arcadia in the morning and headed right down to Pala. Mary, Janet and Papa came down in the afternoon directly to Welk Resort. Maryann and Brian were already at the Resort! Nicole had her 5th year reunion from LaSalle, so she and Dad were planning to arrive on Thursday morning. The weather was beautiful all weekend and we took some great pictures. (Nicole: add your picture from your camera of you girls with Mama and Papa!)
After having great luck at the casino on Wednesday, we were all looking forward to a wonderful dinner on Thanksgiving day thanks to Mary and Janet! Maryann and Brian joined Linda, Susan, Dan and Jaden for Thanksgiving dinner in Oceanside. Ferdinand was also joining on Friday afternoon. It was the BEST Thanksgiving ever!

The Friday after Thanksgiving, Maryann, Nicole, Mary and Janet went shopping at the wee hours of the morning to get the good Black Friday deals! They were very successful and in the afternoon, we enjoyed Thanksgiving Dinner 2 with Ferdinand and Maryann and Brian. Bridget had come up with some Thanksgiving songs (we could forget "Albuquerque the Turkey"?) and even a cute craft of turkeys made out of oreo cookies, peanut butter cups and candy corn! We laughed and ate and had a great time!
Saturday, we all headed home. Maryann and Brian stopped in Monrovia on their way to Petaluma. Nicole was staying until Monday morning.
Nicole and I went shopping Saturday afternoon and then Nicole met friends in the evening.
Dad and I were spending a quiet evening at home......and then.......
